James, rope bondage fiend and photographer, is an American living in the metro Seattle area in the American Northwest. His twisted tendencies led him to find coherence in Seattle's S&m scene of 1996, where he crafted his own style of rope bondage and sadomasochism with willing victims. Photography entered the picture in 1998 while shooting his muse Gwen for the then fledgling web site NawaShibari.com, where he is still tying up pretty girls and taking their picture. James has traveled the country teaching and performing this twisted craft most widely known as Japanese Rope Bondage, and has presently settled into the Seattle groove as if he was a native. The site has thrived since, and grown to become an established resource in the genre. ArtBound is a living gallery of bondage art. Conceived by James in early 2000, this association of bondage enthusiasts, photographers and artists participate in live performance art events designed to create, promote, and document bondage as an art form.
